This class is a participant driven, community defense project based on a blend of striking, grappling, and escape techniques as well as strengthening, conditioning, and agility exercises. Offering a break from traditional victim narratives and self-defense training, this intersectional class seeks to not only teach us how to defend ourselves and each others, but to nourish strength, autonomy, and power both internally in our bodies and externally in our communities.
