Open to newcomers and advanced practicioners alike, this class is run as an intensive course of cardio-oriented boxing drills that aim to cultivate strength and stamina. We encourage participants to set their own pace, take breaks as needed, and ask questions regarding technique and form.
The first half of class is made up of jump-rope, wall-sits, planks, and ab exercises. The second half consists of footwork drills, punch-combination drills, drills on the punching bag, and mitt-work with a partner. The session ends with a 9 minute series of ab exercises.
